God saw faithful Abraham
as a righteous man
so He made this promise.
“Your descendants are to be
multiplied exceedingly
a great nation shall arise from thee”

Behold I’ll tell you a mystery
One that’s concealed mankind’s destiny
Shrouded and veiled throughout history
God now reveals it to you and me

The mystery is Jesus 
The One who came to save
He comes from the Father
and demonstrates His ways 
Fulfilling the promise 
that God Himself has made
The mystery of God is Jesus Christ

Hid in the past, ancient prophecy
Secret of God that few eyes would see
In these last days shown to you and me

The One who came to give
The gift of the Father
To those who follow Him
He offers His Spirit
That we may know new life

God’s wisdom is proclaimed
Unsearchable riches 
that Christ alone contains
The hope of glory’s
found in no other name
